Autumn's Bounty

Well it looks like a missed a day... But I did post 2 paintings on Friday, that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!!

"Autumn's Bounty" was done on Arches Watercolor Paper using various Watercolor paints.   Size is 10" H x 14" W.  I got the idea for this painting when I saw the branch of berries up against the blue sky.  Since chickadees are one of my favorite birds I thought it would be a good contrast against the bright blue of the sky.

  1. LOL - you've already been much more consistant than me! (of course, I don't have much new stuff to post and I didn't really think of going back and adding the older ones)

Nicely done - you put them together then? Don't ya just love it when you get "random inspiration"?! hehe

  2. Sometimes things are just click when you see them. This was one of those that just happened..... I was happy with the way it turned out!

  4. Thanks Toni! I thought I would post some of "My Other Artwork" that I can't post on ST. I really like to work in Watercolor as it's a little easier on my Hands than CP.
